Microsoft makes Windows 8 Consumer Preview and Windows Store available
Microsoft appears to be steadily moving towards the final version of Windows 8, which now looks likely to be available in the second-half of this year. In the meanwhile, the Consumer Preview build of the said operating system has been made available, following Microsoft’s presentation at MWC in Barcelona.

Indian markets get Samsung's Series 5 Ultrabooks
Samsung has introduced its Series 5 Ultrabooks, which are prized significantly lower than the top of the line Series 9 laptops. This launch is comprised of 13-inch and 14-inch models, powered by Intel’s Core i5 class of processors and optional SSD storage. The 14-inch model, which Samsung claims is the first in its class, comes with an internal optical drive.

In his post, Moreau explains that the flat, minimalistic design of the logo is as much as a throwback to early Windows logo, as much as it is representative of the modern Metro design theme that is central to the upcoming operating system.

Six3.tv is a free messaging application dedicated to sending and receiving video messages over the web. The service available through this application is meant for short video messages as the length of one message is restricted to 63 seconds. In order to start sending video messages, one simply needs to create an account on the Six3.tv website and use its web-based application to compose, manage and send messages. The recipient(s) of a message receive a link to the video in their e-mail inbox and they can view the message without signing up for the service.
