The two big announcements are iAds and multittasking. iPhone 3GS and iPod 3G users will get full functionality of the Apple's iPhone OS 4.0 update in June, while iPad users will get the update by September/November. As for older versions, they will get a scaled down upgrade that will not do multitasking, but probably run iAds.
